We go into the game on a run of five successive wins with six wins and a draw in the last seven games, this after a start to the season in which we won just one and lost two of our opening four games.

Both of those defeats were at Gawthorpe. The first was against Blackpool and we exacted revenge last week in the Youth Alliance Cup last week. That leaves Oldham as the last team to beat us.

The beat us 4-3 at Gawthorpe on the day that the first team beat Preston by the same score.

It will certainly be a tough game tomorrow. Oldham are currently fifth in the table with the young Clarets in second place, but they have just one point less than us and have two games in hand.

They have been beaten just once this season. They were big winners in the cup last week against Walsall and a week earlier they inflicted the first defeat on league leaders Blackpool.

Kick off tomorrow, at Oldham's training ground, is 11:00 a.m.
