No McCann as Long gets debut

Kevin Long - set for Burnley debut
McCann was expected to play in one of the reserve games this week but again he's missed out which must put back is much needed return to the first team.

Manager Brian Laws has made eight changes from the team that started against Manchester City on Monday with only Adam Kay, Joey Gudjonsson and Frédéric Nimani from that side in tonight's starting line up.

For Kevin Long, it is a much awaited debut in Claret and Blue after his transfer from the now defunct Cork City.

Alex MacDonald is on the bench as he continues his recovery from a hernia operation, and at what is a difficult time for him with the sudden death of his mum at just the age of 40.

The Burnley team is: Diego Penny, Curtis Woods, Christian Kalvenes, Ben Hoskin, Kevin Long, Adam Kay, Chris Anderson, Joey Gudjonsson, Jay Rodriguez, Frédéric Nimani, Alex-Ray Harvey. Subs: Jonathan Lund, Alex MacDonald, Dom Knowles, Joe McKee, Jake McEneaney.
