McCann, Paterson and Rodriguez all return

Chris McCann
Chris McCann - one of three players back tonight
McCann clashed with Sunderland's Michael Turner in our 3-1 home win against the Wearsiders and three days later Paterson was stretchered off at Barnsley. Both sustained serious knee injuries.

Rodriguez followed that up with a broken ankle playing in a reserve game to leave the squad somewhat depleted.

All three of them return tonight in what is a strong reserve team that will play Hull City at North Ferriby.

Let's hope all three lads come through without any problems with the wish that all three are fighting for a first team place in the very near future.

Also in the side is Adam Kay who has returned to Turf Moor after a loan at Chester City.

Burnley will line up: Diego Penny, Richard Eckersley, Brian Easton, Ben Hoskin, Nik Kudiersky, Chris McCann, Robbie Blake, Joey Gudjonsson, Jay Rodriguez, Martin Paterson, Fernando Guerrero. Subs: Jonathan Lund, Adam Kay, Alex-Ray Harvey, Chris Anderson, Dom Knowles.
