Ly could make youth debut against Carlisle

Luke Conlan available after international duty

There will be some familiar faces missing at Gawthorpe tomorrow morning as the Clarets face league leaders Carlisle in the Youth Alliance Cup. Coach Terry Pashley and his assistant Andy Farrell are otherwise engaged later in the day and that means academy goalkeeper coach Craig Mawson steps in for them.

He doesn't have either goalkeeper Mitchell or defender Dummigan to select from this week. Both are away on under 17 international duty with Northern Ireland. He can, however, welcome back both Luke Conlan and Luke Gallagher, both of whom were on under 19 duty last week with Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland respectively.

One new face in the squad is that of midfielder Kevin Ly. Like Mitchell, Dummigan and Galvin, he's been waiting for international clearance. It's come through this week and the Australian under 17 international is named as a substitute. Kevin has arrived from Blacktown City Demons in New South Wales and has joined the club as a first year scholar.

The team tomorrow is: Callum Jakovlevs, Charlie Holt, Luke Conlan, Nathan Lowe, Alex Whitmore, Luke Gallagher, Cameron Howieson, Luke Daly, Jason Gilchrist, Evan Galvin, Lewis Nuttall. Subs: Danny Eccles, Christian Hill, Brad Jackson, Kevin Ly, Jamie Frost.
