Lazaar set for first game

Mehdi Lazaar - first game of the season
He's not had the best of fortune since arriving from Belgium in January. There was a delay with his international clearance and once that came through he suffered an injury that ruled him out for the rest of last season.

A hamstring injury in pre-season this time has left him on the sidelines but eventually he's fit again and will line up later this morning in the game being played at Creighton Rugby Club.

Burnley are currently in fifth place in the North West Conference of the Youth Alliance League and we face a Carlisle side who are still looking for their first win. They are fourteenth in the table having won four and drawn three of their games so far.

We'll be without central defender Tom Anderson, who suffered a knee injury last week in the win over Bury, and Dean Overson remains out with injury.

Burnley's team is: Ben Woodhead, Ed Williams, Curtis Woods, Alex Coleman, Neil Yadolahi, Dave Lynch, Ross Wilson, Steven Hewitt, Joe Jackson, Joe McKee, Mehdi Lazaar. Subs: Josh Cook, Archie Love, Alex Mullin, Steve Edwards, Tommy Taylor.
