We were one point ahead of Walsall who had two games remaining. Both of those games should have been played by now but the first one against Oldham, scheduled for last Thursday, was postponed and will now be played this coming Saturday.
However, the Saddlers recorded a 4-1 win against Morecambe at the weekend to go fourth and another win in their final game will lift them further up the table.
It was a Saturday of three games which all produced five goals. Carlisle also won 4-1, at Shrewsbury, and the remaining game saw Blackpool beat Oldham 3-2.
