Burnley have played just one match in the competition this season, prior to tonight's game. That was in October when we beat Accrington Stanley 4-0 at the Crown Ground. Jason Gilchrist scored twice, Steven Hewitt was also on the score sheet with an own goal completing the scoring.
Should we win tonight then the final will be a repeat of the last occasion we reached that stage of the competition three years ago. Also played at Deepdale, we lost 3-2 with our goals coming from Dominic Knowles and Michael King.
