It's a strong looking Burnley team too with all five of the players on the subs bench at Reading being named in the team alongside latest signing Danny Lafferty who will make his Burnley debut at left back and Zavon Hines who has been out of the picture for the last two first team games.

They will line up alongside three of the development squad, namely Ross Wilson, Joe McKee an Dominic Knowles and youth team captain and central defender Tom Anderson who will play alongside Brian Easton.

Burnley go into the game in second place in the table having lost top spot to Preston last week, and we face an Oldham side who are currently bottom with just one win and one draw from their seven games.

Their only win was at Wrexham in September and they followed that up with a draw against the Clarets at their training ground later in the same month. They had an early 3-0 lead against us that day before we came storming back with goals from Steven Hewitt and Dominic Knowles(2) to earn a draw.

The Burnley team tonight is: Brian Jensen, Ross Wilson, Tom Anderson, Brian Easton, Danny Lafferty, Zavon Hines, Marvin Bartley, Joe McKee, Dominic Knowles, Danny Ings, Martin Paterson. Subs: Ben Woodhead, Alex Coleman, Steven Hewitt, Cameron Howieson, Shay McCartan.

Oldham's team is: Bouzanis, Fitzgerald, Mellor, Burns, Carr, Parkes, Millar, Winchester, Reid, Smith, Parker. Subs from: Hughes, Simpson, Jones, Laird, Cooper, Riley.
