Nik Kudiersky - back in action this afternoon
Nik was forced off in that game with an injury, being replaced by Alex-Ray Harvey just past the hour. Since he's had surgery on a knee injury that kept him away until a return to full training just a couple of weeks ago.

And today, he makes his return to competitive action when he lines up in the youngest reserve team we've fielded all season when we face league leaders Preston.

In recent games there has been the added addition of one or two first team squad members, but today the only players in the side with any first team experience are Alex MacDonald, Michael King and Wes Fletcher, all of whom have made substitute appearances.

Ash Hoskin is also without Harvey, through injury, and Kevin Long who serves a one match ban after the very harsh red card he received in our last reserve game against Tranmere.

That means there are four members of the youth squad in the starting line up with all seven substitute places being taken by youth players.

The game kicks off at 2:00 p.m. today at Chorley's Victory Park.

The Burnley team is: Ben Woodhead, Ed Williams, Nik Kudiersky, Chris Lynch, Curtis Woods, Alex MacDonald, Chris Anderson, Dave Lynch, Michael King, Dominic Knowles, Wes Fletcher. Subs: Josh Cook, Tom Anderson, Joe McKee, Steven Hewitt, Ross Wilson, Shay McCartan, Joe Jackson.
