Jack Bradbury scored Grimsby's goal tonight that saw the game go to penalties, and the Blue Square Bet Premier Club made no mistake in the shoot out, converting all five penalties in a 5-4 win with Port Vale having one saved.

Goalkeeper Rob Peet was the hero with the penalty save but that was shared with the five scorers - Liam Dickens, Sam Mulready, Ryan O'Loughlin, Dayle Southwell and Charlie I'Hanson.

As a non-league club, Grimsby have already beaten Deeping Rangers (11-0), Hinckley United (3-0), Kidderminster Harriers (5-1), Stourbridge (3-0) and now Port Vale to reach the second round tie against the Clarets.

Grimsby are currently fifth in the North East Conference of the Youth Alliance League and have an identical record to ours with 6 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats in their 11 games.

This tie has to be played on or before Saturday 11th December and will be played at Blundell Park.
