Harry Redknapp - made the draw with Lee Clark
Burnley, sponsored by Clarets Mad, are one of three English clubs taking part in the competition alongside fellow Premier League club Manchester United and from the lower Championship League Sheffield United.

Our first game will be against Co. Londonderry on Monday 27th July and a day later we will be up against Trudovye Rezervy from the Ukraine.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, who made the draw with Huddersfield boss Lee Clark, said of the competition: "I didn't realise Spurs were not involved any more. I was at the competition when West Ham were playing and it was a terrific event then but it has become even better over the years and I think we should be sending representatives.

"We had Joe Cole in two finals and he still talks highly about his achievements at the Milk Cup which just shows how big an impact it had on him.

"The organisers deserve credit for continuing to attract entries from all walks of the game while still preserving a high degree of quality. That's not easy but somehow these guys have got that down to a fine art."

Our results in the first two games will determine where we continue to play as the clubs are split into three groups. The top group will play for the Northern Ireland Milk Cup, the middle clubs will compete for the BT Northern Ireland Trophy and the bottom group will be in the Dunluce Trophy.
