Four changes for the reserves

Diego Penny - in goal tonight

Diego Penny returns in goal for Nicky Weaver whilst Curtis Woods and Jake McEneaney come in for Chris Anderson (ill) and Ben Hoskin (injured) in the full back positions. The other change sees Wes Fletcher start up front alongside Jay Rodriguez with Frédéric Nimani playing on the left hand side of midfield and Adam Kay in the middle with Kevin McDonald missing.

Burnley will be looking for a double after having beaten Sunderland in September at the Eppleton Colliery Welfare Ground in Hetton-le-Hole. Jay Rodriguez scored the only goal of the game.
