Wes Fletcher - hat trick
After unfortunate 1-0 defeats to both Rangers (on Monday) and then Partick Thistle (Thursday), the lads would have been hoping to end their week north of the border with a win, and that's exactly what happened.

Burnley were very much on top again, just as they had been in the Thistle game, but this time they got the goals. The first came from the penalty spot after Alex-Ray Harvey was brought down in the box. Fletcher made no mistake from twelve yards.

The second year apprentice striker notched two more to complete his hat trick and add to the two goals he got in the win over Bradford City a week and a half ago.

They return home now, and next Saturday will play Colne at Holt House whilst there could be another couple of games against academy teams ahead of the league season.
