It was late October 2011 when Martin Dobson and Overson were asked to leave the youth department at Turf Moor and since then Vince has worked for Bury and now, since the summer, for Carlisle.

His team have not had the best of starts to the season in terms of results. They've won just once in the league, against Morecambe, but have won their way through to the 3rd round of the Youth Alliance Cup with victories over Hull and Port Vale.

Games between Burnley and Carlisle at this level are often competitive affairs and last season they had the edge over us. We drew the away game 2-2 in November last year with Ntumba Massanka and Khius Metz scoring the goals, but were beaten 2-0 in the return at Gawthorpe in March.

This season got off to a good start for the young Clarets with wins over Blackpool and Morecambe, but then we hit a disappointing run that saw us draw three and lose two of the next five league games whilst also going out of the Youth Alliance Cup at home to Tranmere.

However, a return to Gawthorpe last week brought a change in fortune with Metz, Brad Jackson and Brandon Wilson all scoring in a 3-0 win against bottom club Morecambe.

We've no team news yet but kick off tomorrow is 11 a.m. at Gawthorpe.
