Eleven points clear for Christmas

Whilst the first team have failed to put a string of results together, Ash Hoskin's team have had no such problems.

They've won eight and drawn two of their games so far and probably the only real disappointment was the drawn game at home to Bury.

Two of the other four games were called off this week with just one goal scored in the two remaining fixtures. That came from Kevin Gall who gave Wrexham the points at Macclesfield.

Shrewsbury and Accrington drew 0-0 in the other game that was played.

That's it now until the second full week of 2011 when there are a full set of fixtures. Burnley travel to play Wrexham on 12thJanuary with the game being played at Airbus UK, next to the Broughton airfield, with a 2:00 p.m. kick off.
