The team didn't include any of the match day squad from Saturday with only Steven Hewitt in the midfield having had any competitive first team action.
The first of the three goals came just before the quarter hour when Ntumba Massanka went on a run down the right hand side, cut in and fired home a shot into the top corner of the net.
Burnley dominated the half but had to wait until just before half time to get a second when Jason Gilchrist looped the ball over the goalkeeper after a good ball to him from Alex Whitmore.
The second half followed a similar pattern with one more goal added, Cameron Howieson netting ten minutes from time after linking up with Hewitt.
