Clarets to face Bury in Lancs Cup Semi

It looked all set to be another Burnley v Blackburn clash, one that I'm sure Burnley fans would have relished given the recent result between the respective first teams at Ewood Park, but it is not to be.

The game yesterday was played at Blackburn's Brockhall training ground with Bury taking the lead in the second half through Richard Hinds, but with twenty minutes remaining the scores were levelled when Blackburn's Markus Olsson equalised for the home side.

As the game went into stoppage time at the end of 90 minutes it was still 1-1 but Bury it was who grabbed the winner with a Temitope Obadeyi goal to win through to the game against us in the last four.

The winners will face Wigan or Bolton in the final.
