Nik Kudiersky - scored his first reserve team goal of the season against Bury
Leaders City were without a game and the Clarets took full advantage by winning one of the two games in hand they had over the Premier League team with the victory at Bury, leaving us above them on goal difference.

That in itself wouldn't have been enough to take us top but second place Carlisle suffered a reverse at Rochdale and given they now only have two games remaining it looks very much as though it will be between ourselves and City for the title.

There weren't many other games but both Morecambe and Preston recorded away wins on Wednesday with Preston's win taking them within three points of Carlisle with a game in hand.

Carlisle are next in action on Tuesday of next week with the top two both playing the following day. Our game is at Morecambe (this is our away game this time) and on the following night we are in action again when we face Accrington at Accrington in our home game.
