 Alex MacDonald - two goals

It took two goals in the last two minutes to complete the comeback after we'd trailed 3-0 with just half an hour of the game gone which prompted coach Jason Blake to make three substitutions.

Fleetwood went 2-0 up in the first 15 minutes through Matty Flynn and Richard Brodie, both with headers, and Brodie was involved with the third. HIs shot was saved by Josh Cook but Sean Clancy was able to knock in the rebound.

Blake reacted by replacing long term trialist Anthony Glover, Alex-Ray Harvey and Mehdi Lazaar with Aryn Williams, Steven Hewitt and Shay McCartan and there was an immediate impact when McCartan was fouled in the box with Alex MacDonald converting the penalty.

The Irish under-19 cap was also in action at the other end just before half time as he headed off the line to prevent a fourth Fleetwood goal.

It was 3-1 at half time and that's how it looked like staying. Fleetwood were down to ten men for the final ten minutes because of injury and the Clarets finally capitalised.

MacDonald got his second with a shot from 20 yards with just two minutes remaining and a minute later McCartan went on a mazy run before finishing well to complete the comeback.

Besides Glover, there was also a second trialist in the side but he's not been named and the Clarets lined up: Josh Cook, Anthony Glover (Aryn Williams 35), Alex Coleman, Tom Anderson, Dave Lynch, Ross Wilson, Dominic Knowles (Archie Love 70), Alex-Ray Harvey (Steven Hewitt 35), Mehdi Lazaar (Shay McCartan 35), Alex MacDonald, Trialist.
