Burnley's 4-0 win over Preston last week saw us climb over Bury who were suffering a 5-2 defeat against Rochdale at the same time.

That sees both going into tomorrow's game with seven points from the first five games. Burnley's goal difference of plus nine sees is in fifth place and that's two places above Bury who have a goal difference of minus one.

Paul Weller is head of youth at Gigg Lane now and there seem to have been a succession of former Clarets in charge of the opposition at Gawthorpe this season.

The last four home games have come against Blackpool, Rochdale, Oldham and Preston who had Gary Parkinson, Tony Ellis, Tony Philliskirk and Jamie Hoyland in charge.

Kick off at Gawthorpe is 11:00 a.m. tomorrow as the young Clarets look to get another win to push closer to the top of the league.
