Burnley could face Sunderland in U21 cup

hould we get through next week it will see us reach the last 16 of the competition and into the last round played on a regional basis. It is also the round where Category 1 clubs enter and so this will be Sunderland's first game in the competition.

There is no date for the tie should we win through at Crewe but it must be played within 14 days of 18th November.

Two of the Qualifying Round 2 games were played last week with both Hull and Notts County securing 2-1 away wins at Derby and Coventry. All but one of the remaining ties will be played next week with QPR v Wimbledon scheduled for 5th November.
