In a game played at Stokes's Clayton Wood training centre, there were also goals from Junior Stanislas and substitute Nathan Lowe in this latest behind closed doors game for the development squad.

Manager Sean Dyche opted to play all seven players who were named on the subs' bench on Saturday as well as Danny Lafferty who just missed out on the squad for the Forest game. Development squad players Cameron Dummigan, Tom Anderson, who netted a hat trick at Middlesbrough last week, and Steven Hewitt made up the starting eleven.

Our team was: Alex Cisak, Cameron Dummigan, Kevin Long, Tom Anderson (Alex Coleman ht), Danny Lafferty, David Edgar, Steven Hewitt (Nathan Lowe ht), Keith Treacy, Junior Stanislas, Ross Wallace, Ashley Barnes.

Stoke certainly had some experience in their team too. Robert Huth, on his way back from injury, played 45 minutes in a team that also included Matthew Etherington, Stephen Ireland and former Burnley loan player John Guidetti.

The development squad will be in action again on Thursday with an away game against Blackpool.
