Postponements on the last two Saturdays mean they haven't played for three weeks but the game went ahead at Oldham this morning with your apprentices looking to make it four wins out of four.

It didn't look likely as we conceded after just 42 seconds but it was all good news after that. The equaliser came from a Joe McKee free kick on 19 minutes and the Scot from Livingston had an inspired morning hitting a post with a second kick.

He played his part in the winner too, taking the corner from which Michael King headed home with just fifteen minutes remaining.

The youth team are next in action in two weeks time when we entertain Bury at Gawthorpe.
