Walsall were the only team that could catch the Blue Square Premier League club but they were held by struggling Blackpool thus handing the title to Wrexham who also won it four years ago when they pipped us to the title.

As expected, we go into the game with no second year scholars as has been the case for much of the season and our lads will be hoping to go out on a high having won the last two games against Walsall, at Gawthorpe last Saturday, and Port Vale, away on Wednesday.

The starting eleven consists of eight first year scholars along with Waqas Azam, Brad Jackson and Jamie Frost who are all from the junior teams.

Three of the five second year scholars had either signed professional contracts, namely Luke Conlan, Jack Errington and Cameron Howieson, with Luke Gallagher and Jason Gilchrist having recently been offered deals.

For the team that plays tomorrow, we can expect all of them to be involved with the youth team next season.

That team is: Conor Mitchell, Cameron Dummigan, Charlie Holt, Alex Whitmore, Waqas Azam, Brad Jackson, Luke Daly, Nathan Lowe, Kevin Ly, Lewis Nuttall, Jamie Frost. Subs: Callum Jakovlevs, Christian Hill, Andreas Bianga, Ntumba Massanka.
