Two weeks ago the home game against Stockport was called off with Gawthorpe waterlogged and things were no better last week when another home game, this time against Wigan went the same way.
Last season our youth team failed to fulfil their fixtures and the way things are going a repeat of this would come as no surprise whatsoever. There is no doubt that we have had excessive rainfall in the last two weeks and we can only hope for a dry week to allow next week’s home game against Rochdale to go ahead.
