Youth match postponed

As a week of frosty mornings carried on to the weekend Gawthorpe was ruled unsafe for the players due to take part in the Youth Alliance North West Conference fixture between Burnley and Stockport County.

Although it is quite unusual for a match to be postponed due to frost in October the pitches at the Clarets training ground simply hadn't defrosted enough by the scheduled 11:00am kick off time.

The youth team are next in action at home on Saturday November 8th when Bury will be the visitors.
