Youth game switched to the Turf

Cricket Field Stand open this afternoon
The waterproofs have just been dusted down ready for this afternoon's youth game against Grimsby as I prepared for a wet, cold, miserable but hopefully inspiring afternoon watching the young Clarets in action for their last home game of the season.

However the poorly drained Gawthorpe itself has not been able to cope with the rain and so the game has been switched to the Turf with free admission to anyone that wants to go down. The Cricket Field Stand will be open and admission will be via the turnstiles in Harry Potts Way.

Thanks very much Burnley Football Club for going to all this effort just to keep the Clarets Mad team dry, it is very much appreciated. I think it is going to be a lot more comfortable in the away end this afternoon.
