The tie was considered to be in real doubt after the league match between Accrington and Rochdale had ended in very poor conditions on Wednesday, and with no improvement in the weather it did appear that this news was a matter of when and not if.
It's certainly good news for me, and I would think a number of other fans who would have liked to have seen this game yet had a decision to make on whether to attend this one or the first team game against Wolves at Molineux.
There's no new date as yet but there are suggestions that it could be played next Saturday morning, or early the following week. And there's news for the winners with them travelling to play either Wycombe or Liverpool in the next round.
