Young reserve team to take on Terriers

Graham Branch - not in tonight's reserve team squad
It was certainly expected that Lenny Johnrose, Graham Branch, Andy Payton and possibly Robbie Blake would be involved but this is not the case and it is as inexperienced a reserve team as we are likely to turn out. It was admitted last week finally that Blake is still having problems with his stomach strain, although the club have confirmed that he will not require any surgery, but he isn't even featuring in the reserve team now.

Also missing yet again is Dimitri Papadopoulos who seems to have just disappeared off the face of the earth. We were told that he would be more involved in the second half of the season with less Under 21 call ups but he is virtually not used now. He hasn't played in the first team at all since January and it is now three games since he made a sub appearance for the reserves.

In fact Brad Maylett and John Williamson are the only two in the squad tonight with Football League experience and John's is just one sub appearance against Macclesfield Town over three years ago. Maylett has now made a total of 39 league appearances although only two of these have been starts.

Apart from that a sub appearance for Luigi Cennamo in the FA Cup at Cheltenham that saw him banished from the first team bench is the only other first team experience in tonight's squad and even Cennamo doesn't make the starting eleven.

The rest is made up of youth team players and the line up in full is: James Salisbury, Andrew Leeson, Liam Eves, Earl Davis, John Williamson, Andrew Waine, Brad Maylett, Richard Chaplow, Damian Hindle, Matthew O'Neill, Mark Rasmussen. Subs: Steven Richardson, Luigi Cennamo, Paul Scott, Sean Blakey, Paul Barrett.

As yet there is no news of the Huddersfield side.

The game kicks off at 7:00 p.m. at the McAlpine Stadium.
