With Danny Coyne away on international duty and Mark Yates having seemingly decided to retire from too much active service it will again be a youthful side that takes on Rochdale, seeking revenge for a 4-1 defeat against the bottom placed club in our first match of the season.

The game gets underway and only the hardly souls will be there with a choice of Sven Goran Eriksson’s England and Coronation Street on television but for those who are there the Burnley side will be:

Michael Hale, Joel Pilkington, Neal Trotman, Ryan Townsend, Paul Scott, Marc Pugh, Joe Booth, Chris McCann, Tom Ince, Kyle Lafferty, Cayne Hanley. Subs: Mark Crossley, Rob Henry, Martin Reilly, Nicky Platt, Alex Taylor.

There are a couple of new dates for the reserves in their remaining away fixtures. The game at Oldham, scheduled for next Wednesday, will now be played on 4th May and the twice postponed game at Blackpool will now be on Wednesday 20th April. Both of these matches will be afternoon kick offs at 2:00 p.m.
