Young line ups for reserve games

For the Clarets, the only professional in the line up is 18-year-old Jay Rodriguez. Caretaker boss Steve Davis has opted not to use any of his other full time pros which means no game for either Brian Jensen or Steve Jones, the two unused subs from Saturday's win at Leicester, or David Unsworth who is available again after suspension.

With Graham Alexander, Joey Gudjonsson, Kyle Lafferty and Chris McCann all away on international duty, added to the injured players, it looks as though Davis has decided not to risk anyone.

It is virtually the same with Preston, and their caretaker boss Rob Kelly has included just three members of the first team squad. They include Chris Neal and Dylan Adams alongside Paul Gallagher who is currently on loan from Blackburn. Other than that they too will field a side made up of youngsters.

The teams are;

Burnley: Jonathan Sergeant, Dean Stott, Nik Kudiersky, Chris Lynch, Thomas Bradley, Alex McDonald, Chris Anderson, Adam Kay, James Craggs, Jay Rodriguez, Wes Fletcher. Subs: Stefan Ritchie, Dan Brown, Lewis Craig, Ben Hoskin, Matt Lomas.

Preston (from): Chris Neal, Michael Aspin, Dylan Adams, Phil Appiah, Mark Bloxam, Dominic Collins, Danny Mayor, Nathan Fairhurst, Ashley Higgins, Paul Gallagher, Matty Mainwaring, Tom Smyth, Chris Thompson, Ray Shearwood, Tom McMahon, Adam Barton.
