Yates back for reserves

Mark Yates - back in the side
It’s not exactly a home game with our games currently being played at Accrington Stanley’s Interlink Express Stadium, but it does look as though we are set for a return to the Turf next season given that the club have used the ‘free admission to reserve games’ slogan as part of the season ticket advertising.

Chester will be looking to do the double over us tonight having beaten us 1-0 back at the Saunders Honda Stadium. We’ve no idea as yet who might be playing against us for the visitors though and a check on their club’s web site tells us that their last reserve game was against Bradford Park Avenue and postponed on 16th March 2004.

For Burnley there’s a return for coach Mark Yates who in recent weeks hasn’t featured in the side but he’s back tonight in midfield as Chris McCann moves into the back four to replace Ryan Townsend who is currently in Australia with their Under-20 team.

Apart from Yates, it is again a young side, and we will line up:

Mark Crossley, Joel Pilkington, Neal Trotman, Chris McCann, Rob Henry, Marc Pugh, Mark Yates, Joe Booth, Tom Ince, Kyle Lafferty, Cayne Hanley. Subs: Michael Hale, Martin Reilly, Nicky Platt, Ali Akbar.
