Who will line up against Millwall?

Alan Moore - could start tonight
Trying to determine who might and who might not start is proving somewhat difficult just now, something that was a lot easier when we just about had enough players available.

None of the injured players are fit to return although Gordon Armstrong and Brad Maylett are back in training. There is no further news on Steve Davis but Paul Weller is said to be recovering well from his groin injury.

Glen Little though is OK after ending Saturday's game as a virtual passenger.

Alan Moore impressed, probably for the first time this season, when he came on as a half time sub and I wouldn't be surprised to see him start with either Lee Briscoe or Mark McGregor playing at left back.

Brisser didn’t have the best of games on Saturday but he was preferred for that defensive position for the second half and that must make him favourite to continue there should Alan Moore be included from the start.

The big debate though remains the front two and it is impossible to work out just who Stan is likely to start with. At Derby he had no options, it was Robbie Blake and Ian Moore, and he has stuck with them in the two games since. Don’t be surprised to see the same two in the starting line up again tonight provided Blake has recovered from his runny nose.

So I expect us to line up: Marlon Beresford, Dean West, Ian Cox, Arthur Gnohere, Glen Little, Tony Grant, Lenny Johnrose, Alan Moore, Robbie Blake, Ian Moore. Subs from: Nik Michopoulos, Mark McGregor, Paul Cook, Gareth Taylor, Dimitri Papadopoulos, Andy Payton, Matthew O’Neill.

Millwall have their own injury problems and are without Richard Sadlier, Steven Reid and Tim Cahill. They will though include loan player Kevin Davies. They are expected to be unchanged from the team that lost 1-0 at Portsmouth last Saturday and that will mean them lining up:

Tony Warner, Ronnie Bull, Matt Lawrence, Stuart Nethercott, Darren Ward, David Livermore, Christope Kinet, Paul Ifill, Andy Roberts, Steve Claridge, Kevin Davies. Subs: Willy Gueret, Marcus Phillips, Robbie Ryan, Kevin Braniff, Neil Harris.
