Who plays at Hillsborough

Dean West - should be fit to resume at Hillsborough
Tony Grant picked up a late injury at Huddersfield but we believe he will be fit to play although there are suggestions that Paul Weller has again been ruled out. Weller hasn't played since getting a groin injury in the Worthington Cup tie against Blackpool at the beginning of last month.

The big question is whether Steve Davis will continue in midfield but with Stan likely to revert to a 4-4-2 formation after changing his system to contend with Huddersfield we can probably expect to see the skipper return to the back four.

He missed the cup win at Huddersfield but Dean West is believed to be fit to return and should replace McGregor at right back and Paul Cook could well get a return in midfield with Alan Moore, disappointing again in midweek, dropping to the bench.

I would expect Burnley to line up in 4-4-2: Marlon Beresford, Dean West, Ian Cox, Steve Davis, Arthur Gnohere, Glen Little, Tony Grant, Paul Cook, Lee Briscoe, Robbie Blake, Gareth Taylor.

The subs will be: Alan Moore, Ian Moore, Mark McGregor, Graham Branch, Dimitri Papadopoulos.

Sheffield Wednesday should be virtually at full strength although David Burrows has been ruled out after collecting an injury in their Worthington Cup defeat at home to Leicester this week.
