We've got a Battersby-Brown

Sam followed in the footsteps of his sister Emily and brother Joseph onto Coronation Street when he landed the part of Chesney in the top soap in 2003 and he's become a regular since with his dog Schmeichel that he wanted to call Robbie Blake.

He's from the Bacup area, and can often be seen making his way to Turf Moor to watch the Clarets where he's been a regular for years. Tomorrow he'll be stepping onto the pitch for the half time draw.

We are told that there is no truth in the rumour that he will be holding a half time collection to raise the money to send his TV mum Cilla to Florida to swim with the dophins, more that we should probably be collecting for him for having to live with such a dysfunctional family.
