West Yorkshire Clarets News

Last updated : 27 August 2003 By Tony Scholes

The foundations were set for the formation of the West Yorkshire Clarets when the group met for the first time on Wednesday 20th of August.

A number of people attended from places as far flung as Malton and Skipton, as well as a strong Leeds contingent. Apart from those who turned up, a large number have also expressed an interest via email and mobile phone (as well as some phone calls directly to the pub that where the meeting was held), and numbers are already approaching 30.

There have already been a number of people showing an interest in helping with the organisation of meetings, and it is the intention to set up communication via email at first, with aims such as organising transport sharing and enabling members to keep in touch and up to date with the latest news from the
football club, as well as identifying suitable times, places and dates for future meetings.

If you are at all interested in receiving the latest news, or have car sharing opportunities available, please contact the West Yorkshire Clarets or indeed if you are interested in joining them or getting involved.

Further news of the group will be available via Clarets Mad.
