We have continued to receive support for our ‘Wear your colours with pride' campaign and we can reveal that yet another Clarets web site has promoted it for us in the last 24 hours. Thanks this time to Daz Arnone and the Burnley From the Terrace site. Your support as ever is very much appreciated.

We have been overwhelmed by the support we have received this week and it seems to be never ending as one Clarets web site after another have backed the campaign as we try to turn three sides of Turf Moor Claret and Blue.

There have been more emails of support too coming into the site including the following:

Evan Wylie

I live in Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland and I've been a Burnley fan since I was a kid. While I don't have a Clarets shirt [shame on me !] I do have a Clarets scarf which I will be wearing with pride for the entirety of the Coventry match !!!! Come on Burnley let's make the play-offs to finish off what's been a really good season for us.

Spending the afternoon at the local pub and being in the Anglia TV region will have to endure the pain of Norwich v Stockport live! Will be wearing this seasons Claret and Blue along with cherished Beanie Hat which was bought from Wembley Way in 1994. Forever and ever .......... sing up on Sunday, we deserve to be in the playoffs.

Burnley Lad

Right on Sunday I will be wearing my favourite Glen Little signed shirt of this season the home Claret shirt. I will be sitting in the Jimmy Mac lower stand supporting the Clarets all day long so don't blow it now chaps!!!!

Firstly I'd like to say that I think your campaign is great and I hope that there will be a sea of claret and blue at the Turf on Sunday. I am coming back from university to watch the game and will be wearing one of my Burnley shirts. I have even converted one of my friends an Aston Villa fan into having Burnley as her second team after taking her to a game earlier
this season and although unable to get to the game she will be wearing a Burnley shirt on the big day to help Burnley onto victory. Hopefully we will be able to wear our colours with pride again in a few weeks in the Millennium Stadium.

G'day from the outskirts of sunny Brisbane!! Just a quick line to let you know that myself and several of my friends here in Brisbane will be wearing the old claret & blue with pride this weekend.....even though I'm the only English one of us!!! I've managed to convert a few of them to the beautiful game, and I'm proud to say that they are now strong Burnley fans. We're
hoping to get a bit of a party going, even though it will be in the middle of the night, to celebrate our return to where we truly belong! So may I take this opportunity to say to Stan and the boys that this is one of the most important times in not just my life, but the whole of Burnley. Believe in yourselves, because you know as well as the rest of us that we can not
only win this game, but also win the playoffs as well! Thanks for letting me spout off, Clarets Mad, and UP THE CLARETS and see you in the Premiership!!!!!

Robert

I will be in the non sponsored last seasons shirt.......can't get to the game but as always will be there in spirit............lets all look on the bright side whatever happens, those who remember the Orient day will know what I mean. Just for the Clarets to survive that day was everything, and in the current climate lets not forget that.....but wouldn't it be fantastic if we got back to the top flight. Good luck Stan, you're doing a great job and I know I've said it before but I'll say it again....YOU DESERVE YOUR CHANCE ON SUNDAY.

Paul – Dutch Claret

I will be wearing mine listening in Holland to the websites commentary. I`ll be saving my money for Cardiff and wear it there!!!! Good luck on Sunday and see you all in Wales.

Just keep EMAILING your support and just keep telling everyone to get their shirts and scarves out for Sunday.

The shirt we have featured today was used for six seasons after being introduced at the start of the 1969/70 season. It saw us through a relegation and a promotion and was the shirt used last time the Clarets were promoted to the top division.
