Giant Axe - home of the Dolly Blues
Originally scheduled for the Giant Axe, home of Lancaster City, there were suggestions that the game had been moved to Deepdale. That is not the case and the game will be played in the county's oldest city Lancaster at the home of the Dolly Blues.

The game will kick off at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow Wednesday 17th and will be almost a cup final as the Clarets or Preston will be crowned League Champions with a draw favouring North End.

I think we all know how to get to Deepdale but many of you won't know how to get to the Giant Axe, we hope the following directions will be of some help.

From Burnley go via the M65, M61 and M6 North.

Leave M6 at Junction 33.

At roundabout take exit signposted A6 Lancaster.

Stay on this road all the way into the town centre (approximately 5 miles), passing straight through three main sets of traffic lights.

Next, go straight across a roundabout and at the next main set of lights, go straight on but make sure that you are in the left lane.

Almost immediately, there is another set of lights; stay in the left lane and go straight on.

At the next set of lights, turn left (Waterstones bookshop is on the corner).

Take the third right into Station Road, which leads onto West Road and after a sharp left bend, the Giant Axe car park is on the right.

Clarets Mad will be there supporting the lads and hope to see many of you there.

Come on you Clarets
