We are the Longside, Burnley

Over thirty Burnley supporters have contributed to the book, with their memories of the Longside, and they recall some very special occasions. There are personal memories and memories of some of the big games when the atmosphere was so special it can never be forgotten. There are photographs too, some of these taken by supporters.

There’s no doubt that it is a book all supporters who stood on the Longside will want in their collection – and it is on sale now at the club prices at £7.99. Not only that, the club are giving away two free copies if you can answer the following question.

As Burnley trailed Sheffield United last Saturday the fans got behind the team with fantastic support. More than once the chant was, “We are the Longside, Burnley”. Gone ten years but It never will be forgotten.
