We are back on the road to Wembley

Forty years ago we were chasing the ultimate prize of the Football League Championship and FA Cup double. There was no doubt that the Clarets were one of if not the best team in the country at the time.

Things were going really well in the league and at times we couldn't stop scoring goals such was the quality of our play. The previous season Spurs had won the double but there was no doubt who were the better of the two clubs at this time.

In the FA Cup we had beaten Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in the 6^th round to win a place in the semi-final. The previous season had seen us go out to Spurs 3-0 at Villa Park at the seim-final stage.
