We all need to help

There are four games left, three at the Turf and one not so far away at Rotherham. There is nothing we can do on the field, we cannot make players play well or stop them playing badly. We cannot dictate tactics and we cannot make refereeing decisions in our favour.

But what we can do is offer our support – we can get to as many of those four games as possible and we can give the players as much support as is possible from first whistle to last.

We cannot afford to be having a go at players during the game, we have to back them, we have to be 100% behind them no matter what we think of their respective abilities. We are relying on them so we have to give them as much support as possible.

Are you undecided whether to go to the Franchise game on Tuesday? Maybe you can’t make your mind up. If so then please make your mind up and decide to go. It is only going to cost a tenner and the more we can get in there supporting the team the better it will be.

We want a win and we need a win and we can do our bit to try and lift them and hopefully see us through to the three points. If we can do that twice this week then the league table I can promise you will look a hell of a lot better.

Burnley Football Club desperately needs your support right now – and remember without us the supporters there really is no Burnley Football Club. We have to do our bit and ensure that if we are to be playing a team called Rovers next season in a league game it is not going to be Doncaster.

There will be no away fans on Tuesday, our opponents kicked them where it hurts and deserted them. We can show them what a real football club is all about and help to give them a good stuffing.

The players as individuals don’t matter and neither does Stan Ternent. Just ask yourself one question – do you want Burnley Football Club relegated? That is all that matters now – please answer NO and do what you can.
