Wade's goal wins it

Wade's recent goal against Barnsley, either of Robbie Blake's against Watford, and certainly Kyle Lafferty's goal just last week in the home win against Barnsley would have all been candidates in any other month.

But there was no chance really after Wade's sensational left foot strike following a ball played to him by Robbie Blake that secured those three points and ensured we did the double over Charlton.

That goal polled 59.1% of the vote and the reason it wasn't higher was because of Kyle's last week. He came in second with 31.0% of the vote but those two goals left the other some distance behind and Robbie's second in that 2-2 draw against Watford claimed only 2.9% of the vote yet finished in third place.

The seven monthly polls have been won by seven different players and there's just one more monthly poll to come before we ask you to choose a goal of the season. The monthly winners to date are as follows.
