Wade Elliott doesn't score too many goals, but when he does they are quite often memorable ones as both RK Sunderland and Charlton have found out in the last two seasons.

And now he's put himself in the running again with his goal against West Brom in the FA Cup replay at the Turf that opened the scoring in the 3-1 win just before half time.
There were only ever two goals in the running for February Goal of the Month, Wade's and Chris Eagles' late goal in the 4-2 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday. Between them they polled over 77% of the vote but it was the Elliott goal that won it.
He took 46.4% of the vote with the Eagles goal in second place with 31.2%. That left the remaining goals picking up the scraps with Eagles also taking third place with his last minute equaliser against Coventry.
Wade now joins the other monthly winners - Chris McCann v Oldham (August), Joey Gudjonsson v Preston (September), Chris Eagles v Coventry (October), Ade Akinbiyi v Chelsea (November), Kevin McDonald v Arsenal (December) and Robbie Blake v Preston (January).
Voting is currently under way for the March Goal of the Month with a choice of twelve goals. That poll, on the front page of the site, runs until the end of tomorrow.
