Wade tops the polls again

Wade Elliott
Wade Elliott - nineteen points clear at the top
Most fans singled out three players from this game and it is no surprise to see those three - Wade Elliott, James O'Connor and Joey Gudjonsson - take the top three places in both the man of the match vote and in the player ratings.

Wade was a clear winner in both. He claimed no less than 40.5% of the man of the match vote to win it hands down. Jimmy O was second with 16.7% and with Joey Gudjonsson, with 12.5% of the vote claimed third place.

It was just the same in the player ratings. Wade's rating of 8.13 out of 10 was the easy winner whilst Jimmy and Joey came in second and third places again with ratings of 7.13 and 6.73 respectively.

With twelve games to go Wade looks to be running away with the Player of the Year title which was won last season by Eric Djemba-Djemba, but things can change quickly and it isn't that long ago that he wasn't even looking to be in the running.

He's now extended his lead at the top to a massive nineteen points from Robbie Blake and you would not bet against his winning it now. James O'Connor has moved into joint sixth place with his four points, alongside Jon Harley.
