Wade is off the mark

Wade Elliott
The last two or three games have seen Wade getting back to the sort of form he showed last season when he stormed through to the top of our player of the season league and he got the vote from this game after another good performance which included setting up our goal for Joey Gudjonsson.

He polled 30.0% of the vote for the man of the match and that was just over double Russell Anderson who took second place with 15.1% of the vote. Gudjonsson, on as a substitute at half time, got third place after scoring that goal and polled 11.8% of the vote.

It was a maximum for Elliott in the player ratings too, but this time he had to share the top place with another player right back in form, captain Steven Caldwell who had an outstanding game at the back. Both had a rating of 7.77 out of 10 and so both get three points.

Anderson came third with a rating of 7.31 and so the points awarded from this game are Elliott 6, Anderson 3, Caldwell 3 and Gudjonsson 1.

Besides Elliott, these are also the first points of the season for both Caldwell and Gudjonsson.
