Wade Elliott
Wade Elliott - he and John Spicer get five points
Spicer, for the second successive game, took the honours in our voting poll. In a game where five players all claimed 11% or more he won it with the smallest percentage vote to win a man of the match all season.

His 24% was enough to take top spot and the three points whilst Wade Elliott was in second place and collected two points with 19.3% of the vote. There was something of a three way contest for third place but as the voting came to a close it was Alan Mahon with 12.6% of the vote who claimed the one point ahead of Andy Gray and Chris McCann.

In the player ratings on the message board it was the same top two, although this time it was Wade who came out on top to take the three points. He averaged 7.39 out of 10. Spicer was just behind with an average rating of 7.28 whilst goalkeeper Gabor Kiraly took the last place with an average of 7.17.

The points bring John Spicer into the top five, some achievement given he's only just won his place back in the side. For Wade, he'd only one point previously, something of a surprise given his assists this season.

Robbie Blake, missing at Barnsley, still leads and the Player of the Year points to date are;

24: Robbie Blake
22: Clarke Carlisle
20: Alan Mahon
13: Kyle Lafferty & John Spicer
12: Steven Caldwell, Andy Gray & Brian Jensen
7: Chris McCann
6: Wade Elliott, Gabor Kiraly & David Unsworth
3: Michael Duff
2: Ade Akinbiyi, Graham Alexander & Wayne Thomas
1: Stephen Jordan
