Wade Elliott moves into fourth place after his performance at Millwall
It was a point against all the odds for the Clarets as we played virtually the whole of the game against a very physical Millwall team with ten men, and it was these two players who took most of the points towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year.

Jensen won the man of the match, winning a 28.6% share of the vote, and that was ahead of Elliott who polled 20.1%. Jay Rodriguez scored the Burnley goal and had an excellent ninety minutes. That performance won him third place with 18.5% of the vote.

We had the same top two in the player ratings, but in reverse order. This time Elliott was on top with a rating of 8.54 out of 10 whilst Jensen came second with a rating of 8.08.

Burnley had to bring on two central defensive substitutes in the first fourteen minutes. Both did well and Leon Cort has taken third place with a rating of 7.62 out of 10.

Elliott and Jensen both win five points towards the Player of the Year with one point each for Cort and Rodriguez. Those points don't have any effect on the top of the table with the top three still some distance ahead. Elliott, though, has now moved into fourth place some seven points behind Jack Cork.
