Van der Schaaf could be next signing

It looked speculative last week. He'd already visited Cardiff and was interesting a number of Turkish clubs, but tabloid speculation this morning believes we've beaten off Cardiff for the 29-year-old's signature.

According to the speculation it looks just about to be a done deal with van der Schaaf reported to have flown in last night for a medical.

There's been nothing public from the player or his representatives nor from Burnley Football Club but former Champions League player van der Schaaf, who left Vitesse Arnhem at the end of last season might just be added to our squad this week.
