Valois in training
Last Updated : 08-Sep-2004 byThe one trialist who has been revealed is 30-year-old French winger Jean-Louis Valois who first arrived in England three years ago when he signed for Luton Town. He made a sensational debut for the Hatters, scoring a 40 yard screamer in a 5-1 win against Torquay.
He scored three times in his first four appearances during their promotion season and for a while was hugely popular with the Kenilworth Road crowd but it soured towards the end of the season and by the time the 2002/03 season kicked off he had moved north of the border.
That was to Hearts and over the next two seasons he played in 49 league clubs for the Edinburgh based SPL club. He was released at the end of the season and has been without a club until last week when he made a debut for Clyde in the CIS Cup against Stranraer.
It was a successful debut too and he scored the only goal of the game for the Bully Wee but Valois, who has recently trialed with Leeds, is keen to play again in England.
He is currently with the Clarets but there has been no hint as to whether we will sign him or the mystery man as we look to strengthen our squad.
