The deal has all been agreed but is subject to a medical which will be held on Monday, but Huddersfield have signed him on a non-contract basis to allow him to play in tomorrow's opener against Stockport County.

It's just a year since he arrived at Burnley, signed on the Monday after the season had started before making his debut at Grimsby in the Carling Cup. He was offered a one year coaching role at the Turf by manager Owen Coyle but chose to turn it down to enable him to continue his playing career.

Now 34, he'll be able to do that in League One with Huddersfield who are one of the promotion favourites. The deal is expected to be a one year deal.
